6th Grade Homeroom and Religion 6th-8th Grade Reading
I am Susie Miller, the 6th grade homeroom teacher. I also teach most of the reading and language classes for the upper grades.
I have taught at St.John's for 12 years, although my full career spans more than 20.
Language Arts is my specialty; I love to experience good literature with my students. I believe that my job is not only to facilitate the application of reading skills, but to teach life lessons - both secular and religious - through literature. The students will also say I love to diagram sentences, which is true! I think grammar is FUN!
I live in Marysville, where I am busy with my husband raising two sons. Our older son is in college, and our younger is in high school.
