I am a graduate of Concordia Teachers' College in Seward, Nebraska. I joined the staff of St. John's Lutheran School in 1980.  I previously taught in the South Central Schools district, four years as the 6th grade language arts teacher and two years as a 5th grade teacher.  I taught grades 1st-3rd for 4 years here at St. John's Lutheran School and have taught kindergarten since 1988. A native of Marysville, Ohio, I still love the small-town atmosphere.  My

husband, Steve, and I have an adult son, Will, who is a graduate of St. John's as well as myself, my parents, and my grandparents. I enjoy reading, traveling, and cooking.

      Frontier Day which allows students the opportunity to experience pioneer life at a log cabin in Zanesfield

      Parent/child shared experiences including gingerbread house construction at Christmas time
